Something Wicked This Way Comes

I may be a tad early, but my favorite time of year is quickly approaching and the time to prepare is NOW!

Because “by the pricking of my thumbs….

Something WICKED this way comes!”

If you know me, you know that I never EVER pass up an opportunity to dress up and you’ll also know that Halloween is my all time favorite FAVORITE FAVORITE time of year. As per tradition, we have our annual family costume party, we go all out with our costumes (sometimes making them from scratch) and keep it secret until the big day. We also make chili, breadsticks, caramel apples and endless crafts to further decorate our already haunted houses. My dad does a yearly spook alley in the backyard and it is quite a sight to behold. To hold off bombarding you with all the details, I am going to keep this post short and sweet. This year I would absolutely LOVE to get input from my readers of what what you would like to see on Spreading Happy Thoughts in the weeks leading up to Halloween. Is there a specific craft you’d like to see how it’s done? (Or at least how I would attempt it!) Specific costume or makeup tutorials or suggestions? Festive recipes? Comment here or shoot me a message with things you’d like to see and I’ll do my upmost to fulfill your Halloween hearts desire. . .

Don’t worry it wont cost you much. . . Just your voice!

Jk  just the time it takes to comment  😘😘

Did you think I’d sign off and not mention the incredibly haunting photo above? Well don’t worry, there will be a very special post dedicated specifically to this epic mermaid photo shoot I had a few weeks ago with the amazingly talented Amanda Conley, Addie Jones and Susan Stange. Seriously, you won’t want to miss it!

I cannot wait to see the full mermaid shoot! Sounds amazing! I am so envious of your crafting abilities and would love some easy food/decor/costume ideas for the craft-challenged!
